This is Mitch (on the left) speaking" Hi Everyone at Animal Krackers I was not with you very long before my luck changed, not only did I get a new home but it came complete with a new playmate who is only about a year older than me. He also came from Animal Krackers and we play together, my favourite game is chase the ball (I even have one that glows in the dark so I can find it at night).

Thank you all Mitch"

It is exactly a year since we came to look at Topper and in ten days time it will be a year since we brought him home. He still remains the 'light of our life' and has brought us nothing but the greatest of pleasure. Like all of us he's getting older and adjusts his life accordingly. Some days he runs and runs, chasing birds, flushing out pheasants and going after squirrels. Other days he ambles slowly behind me, stops when he's had enough and then races back to jump into the car!! He's getting more deaf and doesn't like to be out of my sight for very long. So Phil, again thank you for everything you do for dogs like Topper. We are just so grateful you got us together. We send our best wishes to you for Christmas and for 2012.
This is Duke who we adopted in June 2010 from Animal Krackers. Hes a little angel and brings us so much joy I wouldn't part with him for the world. He enjoys spending his time in the park with his friends, eating buscuits and chasing his ball. Just a memory of the snow in January!
Corfie...energetic spaniel, originally came from Corfu!
When my wife Elisa and myself lost our two staffords after 13 years., the house didn't seem right anymore, like some thing was missing so we decided to get another dog. We bought Ivo a Labrador pup and had him seven months before one day I was walking near Ferry Farm Kennels in the snow. A guy walking his dog came by and we started talking. I mentioned to him that I would like another Labrador as Ivo was great but needed some guidance. The guy Phil told me that he works at the kennels and that a Labrador had just come in the night before, at first I thought do I really want another dog as its a lot to take on but Phil talked me in to going up to see him. As the door opened and this Georges looking Lab came out to see us ( JAKE) I thought to my self this is the boy for us. Over the next week I took Jake and Ivo out for walks every day and was gutted when I had to take him back, I think Jake was as well. WE JUST HAD TO HAVE HIM!!!.Jake loves his new life with us and is spoilt rotten lying on the settee with Elisa. He's so patient with Ivo and his temperament with our friends and family is second to none, Ivo has a great Companion and friend in Jake. Thanks Animal Crackers our family is now complete.
Meggan...great little dog, now living on a farm, East Boldon.
Jake in his new home in South Hylton
" We have had Jake for a year now and it is the best decision we have ever made." .
Biggles, one of the sweetest dogs we have re-homed; he settled in right away.
Max... a geat achievement to find Max a good home. Max is so much loved by all assocaited with him.

Here is the poem written by Antonia pleading for him to be given a home: "Poem for Max. Please don’t walk by, take a look, Read the first chapter of my book. I came to the kennels with Sandy my sister, She went to a home with a really nice mister. So now it’s just me all alone, Sitting in my kennel with my bone. And as the other dogs come and go, No-one seems to want me and it leaves me feeling low. I might not be handsome or the brightest of the pack, But I’m loving and I’m friendly so please don’t turn your back. As the weeks turn into months and with the winter on its way, Please let me be the one with whom you spend your Christmas day! "
Hooch...a Dogue de Bordeaux, quiet the biggest dog we have ever seen
Bramble, a lovely young terrier and perfectly suited to the home of an elderly couple who she now lives with
Brandy, one of the easier dogs to re-home, now living in South Hylton
Bud, an oldie who without our help could have spent a long time in kennels, or, put to sleep
Roxy, a bit of a scamp, loves water, digging holes. Mayhem, but great fun, now living in Ryton.
