The kennels (Ferry Farm Boarding Kennels) are at South Hylton which is in South Sunderland. If you are travelling from outside of the area, the approach is along the A19.

The kennels are easy to find since there is one road into and out of South Hylton, via Pennywell.

Proceeding down the hill into South Hylton you will notice the terminus to the metro rail system. Shortly after, on the left hand side past a Chinese take away, follow the road to the left along Cambria Street.

This road runs into Fairmead Way. At the end you will notice a dirt track. Follow this to the left and then to the right and under a bridge (which forms part of the A19 over the River Wear), you will quickly find the kennels.

Unfortunately, the sat nav code on their web site takes you the wrong way!!!
